Arthur's Office is shared with his partner Parker.[1] It is located at 13 Mosby Avenue.[1]
Description[]
The door to the office reads Arthur Lester and Peter Yang, Private Investigative Services. It features a desk, a closet, a piano, and a separate bathroom with a mirror.[1]
Prior Tenants[]
Roland Cummings - Arthur and Parker took over the lease from Cummings, who had been sub-letting it to Elijah Strong and his ex-partner Teddy Caine at the time.[2] Cummings was the name on the lease to the office, but Arthur and Parker rented the office from Strong himself.[1] Detective Noel later reveals that he was Cummings' partner, before he changed his name away from Charlie Dowd. Cummings and Noel initially took on normal cases, until they stumbled upon one that dealt with otherwordly magics. After that, they became specialized in it. While Noel was away to Egypt for a case, Cummings left quite hastily[1], disappearing afterwards and presumed dead for quite some time.[3] Because of this, he was not the current occupant when Arthur and Parker moved in.
Elijah Strong and Teddy Caine - Arthur and Parker took over the lease from Elijah Strong and his ex-partner Teddy Caine. Strong was forced out of the PI business after murder charges were brought down on him. He told Arthur and Parker the story of the case, which Arthur later uses to convince Marie Pilon to let him investigate the disappearance of her sister.[2] It was thought that Elijah killed himself while in prison for murder. This, however, was refuted by The Butcher when he revealed that he killed Strong and made it to look like suicide.[4] It is unclear what happened to Caine, though it is heavily implied that The Butcher tortured him too, along with Strong.[4]
